Some of our most frequently asked questions. If you can’t find your answer here, email: info@berkshirewomenwriters.org.

Do I need to register for the Festival? Does it cost anything?

Unless otherwise noted in the event description, all events are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis—so far we’ve had excellent attendance and not had to turn anyone away.  If you are planning to bring a school group, it would be good to let us know in advance, but otherwise, just come a little early and join in the fun!

Are men welcome at Festival of Women Writers events?

Yes, absolutely!  Unless an event is billed as specifically for women (as one or two are this year), men are very welcome to come and join in the action.  Just as men expect women to show up at events where only men are presenting, women welcome and expect men to show up in our audiences too!
